Replacing their GX501VS lineup, the metallic black 15.6" Republic of Gamers Zephyrus GM501GS Notebook from ASUS is designed for gaming, thanks to an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card with 8GB of GDDR5 RAM, a Full HD 1920 x 1080 display, G-Sync technology, a 144 Hz refresh rate, a response time of 3 ms (GtG), wide viewing angles, and 72% NTSC color gamut coverage. The core of this system is driven by a 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7-8750H processor, which can be overclocked up to 4.1 GHz, plus 16GB of 2666 MHz DDR4 RAM. Storage is provided by a 256GB NVMe PCIe SSD and a 1TB Seagate FireCuda Solid-State Hybrid Drive (SSHD) with an 8GB cache. The GM501GS has also been built with 802.11ac Wi-Fi and a 4-Zone RGB keyboard. The installed operating systems are Windows 10 Pro (64-bit) and PureOS.
